Hello all
Let's talk candy. Every year the stores get a load of themed candy in. This year the discount store Poundland had a range in that tickled my funny bone for some reason. Half of their Halloween candy seemed to be minions themed. You know those little yellow things kids loved a few years ago from the movie despicable me. When I say half the range was minions I am not exaggerating. They had Minions gummy rings, Minions popping candy, Minions sherbet straws and a few more I can't remember. Here are the ones I bought and what I thought of them.
First I bought candy sticks. These are your standard chalky candy sticks in a minions Halloween box. Nothing special about them but I just can stop eating them. One box just isn't enough.

Next I bought some ghost shaped mallows. I haven't tried these yet but the packet says they are vanilla flavour. I'm not sure if I will eat these but they look like someone took a blow torch to a bunch of minions only to walk away when they were half melted.

Finally I got what was the biggest surprise tutti fruiti gummy snacks. These are shaped like minions rising out of pumpkins and I really enjoy the taste. They also sold a single giant one for personal consumption if you didn't feel like sharing your minion. If they sold something like this year round I could see myself occasionally buying them.

As most of the offering from Poundland are individually wrapped it makes them perfect for trick or treaters this year if you get any. There are a few more Halloween treats I've picked up this year so if anyone is interested in what else the UK got or if you want to see more minions out of sheer curiosity like myself let me know.
